Giving:

For more than 40 years, ONE CALL FOR ALL (OCFA) has been a unique Bainbridge Island tradition. Every October, Red Envelopes appear in our mailboxes. Bainbridge Islanders know it is time to donate to the agencies of their choice. 100% of your donation goes to support the agencies you choose.

We thank those who continue to support this effort, and encourage and welcome all new Island residents to help build our community through giving.

For more information, or to pledge online visit One Call For All’s website at www.onecallforall.org.

In addition to HHHS, you'll find all of the human service agencies that participate in the Community Connections project listed with One Call for All. Please consider supporting them, as well.

Note: If you are interested in funding a specific program managed by the Health, Housing and Human Services Council, please contact us.

HHHS is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is classified as a public charity under sections 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). Contributions are also deductible under section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC), and that HHHS is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2016 or 2522 of the IRC.

Participation:

There are many volunteer opportunities with HHHS and with the Community Connections agencies. Volunteerism keeps our community strong. Bainbridge Islanders have a very positive history of on-going community involvement through volunteering. If you'd like to contribute your time to meet human service needs in our community, consider the following activities:

  • Explore board membership with HHHS or with one of the Community Connections providers listed on our "Links" page.
  • Volunteer time with HHHS (several of our task forces and committees include both board members and community members) or with a service provider.
  • Sign up on our E-news list to stay informed on HHHS projects and human services trends in our community.
  • Contact us by email info@bihhhs.org or by phone at 206-842-9335.
